IATA does not support the US and UK restrictions on electronics in flights

The International Air Transport Association does not support restrictions issued by the US and UK authorities that prohibit passengers to take in the cabin any electronic gadgets larger than a mobile phone in order to provide safety from terrorist attacks on board. As many people say, that will not work, because it is not applied for every airport and country. As a matter of fact it produces more difficulties both for travelers and airlines than really solves the problem with terrorist threat.
